US presidential candidate Donald Trump has asserted a crypto-embracing stance for his campaign.

In a recent statement, Trump said he will make sure that donations in crypto will be accommodated, “Can we donate to the Trump campaign using crypto? I believe the answer is yes.”

In addition, the former US president pointed out that crypto is moving out of the United States due to the hostility towards the industry.

“We’ll stop it because I don’t want that—if we’re going to embrace it, we have to let them be here,” he added, as reported by DeCrypt.

The business mogul mentioned that rival Joe Biden does not even know what cryptocurrency is, encouraging those in favor of crypto to vote for him in the upcoming presidential elections in November.

Alongside his recent remarks, Trump commented on the Joe Boden meme token, which trades with a ticker ‘BODEN,’ saying “he does not like the investment,” an article from The Block shared.

BODEN surged as much as 25% following his recent remarks, peaking at $0.42 apiece, with a market capitalization of $240 million. “That is a lot of money for a coin,” Trump added.

Analysts said the change in Trump’s stance on crypto is a good campaign strategy against Democrats, especially if Biden maintains his anti-crypto narrative.
